This website is dedicated to the remote controlled model sailboats of the Ruddertwister Class. The boats are 61cm in length, have a height of 87cm (mast from deck to top) and a draught of 20cm. The skipper controls the rudder (of course!) and one sheet for both sails. Each boat comes in individual design, as you can see on the pictures.

Becker Marine Systems is proud initiator of the first Becker Twistercup, the official championship of the Ruddertwisters. Amongst the teams competing for the cup are our valued customers E.R. Schiffahrt, Norddeutsche Vermögen, Reederei NSB, Rickmers Reederei, Peter Döhle Schiffahrts-KG, NSC, CMA CGM as well as HSVA (Hamburg Ship Model Basin), IBMV and envise.

Current defender of the Twistercup after the fourth Twistercup is "Racer Pro" (No. 15), piloted by IBMV's Thomas Guiard. "Racer Pro" will face tough competition at the next Twistercup. Twistercp V will take place in Scharmbeck on April 24th, 2010.
